The Vineyards
Our vineyards aren't just plots of land where vines grow.
They're thriving ecosystems where healthy, adaptable vines flourish, inside an abundant and diverse ecosystem.
We avoid pesticides and herbicides, allowing the natural vibrancy of the vineyard environment to thrive.
During winter, we plant mustard, seasonal beans, and other symbiotic plants to sustain the vineyards' vitality while the vines lay dormant.

Come spring, a burst of life ensues, attracting a diverse mix of organisms that maintain the delicate ecological balance.
These companion plants aren't just for show, they enrich the soil with essential nutrients like nitrogen and potassium, while beneficial insects play their part in ecosystem health.
By incorporating winter crops and vineyard compost, we've significantly reduced our dependence on external inputs, nurturing soil health and boosting rainwater retention.

the Honey Bees
And let's not forget our buzzing friends – honey bees. They're crucial pollinators that play a vital role in vineyard well-being.
FUN FACT: Did you know that honey bees don't just pollinate? They also help preserve grapes. As grapes ripen, honey bees seek out damaged areas, feeding on them and leaving behind a protective layer that keeps the fruit fresh. Amazing right!?
Our commitment to sustainable, organic, and chemical-free vineyard practices ensures that the grapes we harvest are of the highest quality. Because what you consume matters – to both you and the environment.
All our wines are certified organic, biodynamic, and sustainably produced.

The Package
Our pouches aren't just awesome and convenient; they're sustainability champions. They have an 85% reduction in carbon emissions compared to traditional glass bottles. Lightweight and durable, they offer a greener alternative for wine packaging, while also extending the shelf life of opened wine to 45 days.
But it doesn't stop there – our pouches are designed with recyclability in mind. Unlike other brands' non-recyclable spigots, ours are curbside recyclable, making them a true eco-friendly choice. And stay tuned – we're constantly innovating to make them even more environmentally friendly, with a new, lighter and more recyclable line set to launch in 2024!

Shipper Boxes
Our commitment to sustainability extends to our shipping materials too. Crafted from 100% recycled paper, including corrugated and thermal materials, our packaging is as eco-friendly as it gets. And those thermal protection layers? Completely compostable. Even the dies we use for printing are plant-based and chemical-free.
MEDLY WINE GLASSES:
We currently work with glassmakers in the Midwestern United States, minimizing our footprint from the production source to your door. Our glassware changes from time to time since we are open to following new opportunities and partnerships. If we think it will make your experience better, we give it a try.
And when it comes to shipping our glasses, we don't skimp on sustainability either. Our glasses are packed in cartons made from reused or recycled materials, minimizing our environmental footprint every step of the way.
