"This orange wine is a lovely pale amber color in the glass. The nose is a reminder of cream sherry and caramelized pineapple. Tastes of tart dried apricot and white peach. Toasted hazelnut in background. Very creamy mouthfeel that has a bit of grippiness at the back of the tongue."

"Scott and I discovered Medly Wines early January 2025. To find organic wines with no added sugar at a great price, delivered FREE to our door? Well, we became monthly subscribers, greatly enjoying all three offerings, white, red and rosé. When we saw the new offering, French Folie Orange Wine, we jumped on it! I’m absolutely NOT an expert on wines nor a wine connoisseur. I do not know the lingo and cannot appreciatively describe the nuances of various wines…. however, I KNOW what I like! I’m genuinely enjoying the French Folie! Scott and I, both! Here in Texas, we’re in the midst of deep summer heat. We love sitting on our deck in the evenings and enjoy our wines. This French Folie Orange Wine is no exception! It’s crisp, refreshing, not at all heavy, but has body! Not quite as dry as expected…with grilled steak, the French Red, of course, cannot be beat! For me, French Folie is more of a sipping wine, perfect for Texas in August! (I’ve been known to added a few ice cubes, but don’t tell anyone! lol!) "This wine is really delicious - both crisp and refreshing. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is, well, the color. As my husband said when he poured it: "It looks like. . . something else. " I guess I knew it was orange because it's in the name, but you do have to get over the color a little when you're drinking it. I'm looking forward to enjoying it around a campfire this weekend."
